These Terms govern the use of whizbiz.net and purchases from Whizbiz Store. They should be read together with the other policies in this suite.
1. About Whizbiz Store
Whizbiz Store (“Whizbiz”, “we”, “us” or “our”), registration number 8317219, operates whizbiz.net with registered/business address at Akinyele Street, Aguda, Surulere, Lagos. Customer support is available at support@whizbiz.net and +2348030437609.
2. Acceptance and eligibility
By using the website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and the policies expressly incorporated into them. You must have legal capacity to enter the transaction. If you purchase for another person or business, you confirm that you are authorized to do so.
3. Product information and availability
We aim to present accurate product descriptions, specifications, condition, price, warranty and availability. Images may illustrate a product and display colours may vary. Material specifications shown on the product page form part of the purchase information. Availability may be subject to final supplier confirmation for products sourced on demand.
If we discover a material product-description error before dispatch, we may contact you to confirm whether you wish to proceed, offer a suitable alternative only with your consent, or cancel the affected item and refund amounts paid for it.
4. Order formation
Submitting an order is an offer to purchase. An automated order-received message confirms receipt but does not necessarily mean the order has been finally accepted. We may perform payment, stock, address, fraud or compliance checks. Unless mandatory law provides otherwise, the order is accepted when we expressly confirm acceptance or begin fulfilment after required checks.
5. On-demand procurement
Some items may be sourced after an order is placed. Where this is material, the product or checkout should identify the estimated procurement/delivery period. Once we accept a paid order, we will not increase the agreed product price because our supplier price changed. If we cannot fulfil, we may offer an alternative for your approval or cancel and refund the affected amount.
6. Prices, currency and taxes
Prices are shown in the currency selected or presented on the website. The currency in which your payment will actually be processed will be shown at or before checkout where it differs from the display currency. Your bank or payment provider may apply its own exchange rate or foreign-transaction fees. Applicable delivery, tax and other mandatory Whizbiz charges will be presented before order submission where determinable.
7. Payment
Available payment methods are displayed at checkout and may vary by country, currency or risk controls. Payments may be processed by independent payment service providers. Whizbiz does not intentionally store card verification values after authorization. A payment authorization or debit does not oblige us to fulfil an order that we are legally prohibited from supplying or that fails a legitimate verification check; in such a case we will handle reversal/refund as appropriate.
8. Delivery
Delivery periods are estimates unless expressly sold as a guaranteed service. We will provide the delivery information reasonably available to us and may use third-party logistics providers. Risk and title pass according to applicable law and the delivery arrangement. Our Shipping & Delivery Policy explains delays, failed delivery, damage, loss and cross-border shipping.
9. Returns, defects and warranty
Whizbiz provides a 14-calendar-day voluntary return framework for eligible purchases. This voluntary window does not replace or reduce rights for defective, unsafe, misdescribed or non-conforming goods under applicable law. Manufacturer or distributor warranty terms may provide additional rights. See P02 and P03.
10. Product condition and authenticity
We will not knowingly represent used, open-box or refurbished goods as factory-new. Where condition is material, it will be identified before purchase. Counterfeit goods are prohibited. See P04.
11. Cancellations
You may request cancellation before dispatch. We will honour cancellation where reasonably possible and where applicable law permits. Special-order or already-committed procurement may be subject to reasonable, disclosed limitations, but no term limits mandatory defect or cancellation rights that cannot lawfully be limited.
12. Accounts and acceptable use
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for providing accurate order and delivery information. You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with security controls, place fraudulent orders, scrape protected content unlawfully or use the service in a way that violates applicable law.
13. Promotions and coupons
Promotions may have specific eligibility, dates, stock limits and non-combination rules. Promotion-specific terms prevail only for that promotion and cannot remove mandatory consumer rights.
14. Intellectual property
Whizbiz website content, branding, original text, graphics and software are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Product names and third-party marks remain the property of their respective owners. Nothing in these Terms transfers intellectual-property ownership to a customer.
15. Liability and mandatory rights
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability, consumer rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Subject to that rule, Whizbiz is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable from a breach, or for loss caused solely by circumstances outside our reasonable control. Any limitation is interpreted only to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
16. Force majeure
We are not liable for delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as major transport disruption, natural disaster, war, civil disturbance, government action, widespread network failure or similar events. We will take reasonable steps to reduce the effect and keep affected customers informed. Mandatory refund/cancellation rights remain unaffected.
17. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you in another jurisdiction and cannot lawfully be excluded. We encourage resolution through our complaints process first. Where appropriate, parties may agree to mediation or another lawful ADR mechanism. Nothing prevents a customer from using a competent regulator or court where applicable law gives that right.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms prospectively. The version applicable to an order is generally the version in effect when that order was placed, unless a later change is required by law or is more favourable and expressly applied. Material updates will carry a new effective date.
